Torrian Wilson Named National Director of Player Rankings for the Starts Up Front National & Global Recruiting Board
Former UCF standout and NFL offensive lineman brings an extensive Florida recruiting network and elite trench-development experience to SUFRB.
September 16, 2026 — The Starts Up Front National & Global Recruiting Board proudly announces the appointment of Coach Torrian Wilson as its National Director of Player Rankings.
Wilson, a 34-year-old Miami native, brings an accomplished background as a highly recruited high-school prospect, collegiate standout, NFL offensive lineman, championship coach and nationally respected trainer of offensive and defensive linemen.
A graduate of Miami Northwestern Senior High School, Wilson concluded his high-school career as an Under Armour All-American. He continued his playing career at the University of Central Florida, where he became the Knights’ starting left tackle and earned multiple all-conference honors. His accomplishments included helping UCF win the 2014 Fiesta Bowl, receiving recognition on the Outland Trophy Watch List and later being selected to UCF’s All-Decade Team.
Following his collegiate career, Wilson entered the NFL in 2015 as an undrafted free agent with the Detroit Lions. He later joined the New England Patriots’ practice squad and continued his professional career with the Orlando Predators. His official NFL player profile identifies him as an offensive lineman from UCF.
Wilson subsequently transitioned into coaching and player development. He spent one year at Florida International University before joining the football staff at St. Thomas Aquinas High School, one of the nation’s most prominent high-school programs. His coaching résumé includes state runner-up, state championship and national championship accomplishments, along with experience as an FBU, NextGen and Under Armour All-American coach.
Wilson is also the founder and chief executive officer of Crafting Linemen, a Florida-based training organization dedicated to developing offensive and defensive linemen from the youth level through the professional ranks. According to the Crafting Linemen website, the organization has trained more than 300 athletes and worked with numerous NFL players, collegiate prospects and high-school linemen.
His influence is especially significant throughout Miami-Dade and Broward counties. However, his reach extends across Florida and beyond. Crafting Linemen events have attracted athletes from Tampa, Port St. Lucie, Clearwater, Georgia and communities throughout South Florida, demonstrating Wilson’s ability to connect with prospects, families and coaches across multiple regions. Larry Blustein’s Florida Kids has recognized Crafting Linemen for providing specialized instruction and exposure opportunities for offensive and defensive line prospects.
As National Director of Player Rankings, Wilson will help lead the development, organization and quality control of SUFRB’s national ranking system. He will collaborate with the organization’s national directors, regional scouts, state directors and evaluators to assess offensive and defensive line prospects across graduation classes, states and regions.
His responsibilities will include reviewing game film, verified measurements, competitive performances, technical development, camp evaluations and prospect résumés. Wilson will also help ensure that SUFRB rankings reflect consistent, position-specific evaluation standards grounded in actual offensive and defensive line play.
Wilson’s appointment gives SUFRB an experienced evaluator who understands the recruiting process from several perspectives: elite high-school prospect, collegiate starter, professional player, championship coach and private trainer. His extensive relationships throughout Florida will help SUFRB identify established athletes while also discovering underexposed linemen who deserve credible evaluation and national recognition.
The addition of Wilson represents another major step in SUFRB’s continued expansion as a premier national and global authority for offensive and defensive line recruiting, rankings, evaluations and exposure.
